Basketball Recap: Green Meadow Waldorf Takes a Loss

Green Meadow Waldorf played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 46-23 to the Montfort Academy Knights. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 41-33.

Montfort Academy found their leader in sophomore Bianca Creales, who posted 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Creales has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Reyes, who put up seven points.

Green Meadow Waldorf dropped their record down to 1-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Montfort Academy, they moved to 3-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Green Meadow Waldorf has already played their next game (against EF Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Montfort Academy has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Varsity Opponent.
