Volleyball Recap: Stamford Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Stamford, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Ludlowe Falcons on Thursday. This was payback for the Black Knights, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Stamford was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-12, 26-28, 25-21.

MD Arfat Chowdhury was the offensive standout of the contest as he had ten digs and three aces. Those three aces gave him a new career-high.

Stamford's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. As for Ludlowe, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Coincidentally, Stamford and Ludlowe will both be playing Danbury the next time they take the court. The Black Knights will head out to face the Hatters at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Falcons will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
