Montgomery had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 2-5 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Franklin Warriors 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Warriors on Tuesday, they had to take a 6-2 loss.
