Soccer Recap: Wharton Finishes Even with Sickles

Wharton hasn't lost a match since November 19, 2024, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Sickles Gryphons could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Wildcats have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Sumayah Noble, who's now up to seven this season.

Wharton's draw gives them a new season record of 9-1-2. As for Sickles, they moved theirs to 7-1-5.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wharton challenge the Plant at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Plant's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Sickles, they will take on Montverde Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Montverde Academy will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Sickles surely won't give up without a fight.
