Basketball Recap: Corrigan-Camden Comes Up Short

Corrigan-Camden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 36-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chireno Owls. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1472nd, while the Owls are ranked 515th).

Corrigan-Camden's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Chireno, they pushed their record up to 15-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Corrigan-Camden will venture away from home to take on Shelbyville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Shelbyville will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Corrigan-Camden surely won't give up without a fight. Chireno has already played their next match (against West Sabine), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
