Lakeside School put their dominant pitcher on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. They never let the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won 24 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Luke McGowan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Trent Hayes, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Brayden Vachon, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Lakeside School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount de Sales Academy only posted a batting average of .062.

Lakeside School has already played their next contest, a 9-2 win against Westfield School on the 5th. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they will take on Piedmont Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
