Alexandria benefitted from Johnson in 66-54 loss
While Alexandria might've come up empty on Friday, Jaylin Johnson wasn't going down without a fight. Despite the loss, Johnson was still balling out having scored 19 points along with two steals.
Johnson and Alexandria won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Carver Collegiate Academy at 4:30 p.m. on January 27th. Carver Collegiate Academy will enter the matchup having just beaten Frederick A. Douglass, so Alexandria will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
