Football Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Norman

Norman put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 35-25 win over the Edmond North Huskies. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Huskies, too.

Anthony Johnson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 109 yards and one score. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024.

Special teams also played a big role in the game for Norman, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Crew Noles, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Norman's record now sits at 4-0. As for Edmond North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Norman is set to take on their familiar foe Jenks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Edmond North will challenge rival Deer Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
