Basketball Recap: Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind's Win Ends 11-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind). They claimed a resounding 40-12 win over the Lourdes Catholic Warriors. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Sentinels as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alicia Sanchez, who posted 15 points. Those 15 points gave Sanchez a new career-high. Emily Marquez was another key player, putting up eight points.

Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
