Westmoore found their leader in underclassman Kyiah Prestridge, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Abby Combs was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Putnam City has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Westmoore, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
Putnam City won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bishop McGuinness at 11:00 a.m. on January 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oklahoma (Bishop McGuinness is ranked 121st, while Putnam City is ranked 112th). Westmoore will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Norman at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
