Softball Recap: Milford Comes Up Short

Milford and Duxbury squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Milford had to settle for second. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons. The Scarlet Hawks just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Milford saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Baglione, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Milford now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Duxbury, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-8.

As of now, neither Milford nor the Dragons have any future games scheduled.
