Basketball Recap: Dobbs Ferry Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Dobbs Ferry had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against The Leffell School Lions by a score of 64-55 on Wednesday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Dobbs Ferry's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points over those games. As for The Leffell School, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles take on the Falcons at 5:15 p.m. on Sunday. Dobbs Ferry knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Woodlands likes a good challenge.
