Baseball Recap: Jefferson County Christian Royals vs. Varsity Opponent        
        
		
            
 Jefferson County Christian put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season  on Thursday. They blew past Varsity Opponent 15-5. That's more bragging rights for Jefferson County Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Robbie Henderson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  struck out nine batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned  (and one unearned) runs off   eight  hits. Henderson was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Wyatt Hervey was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last 14 times he's  played.  Noah Kostelny was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI and a  double.
 Jefferson County Christian has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-6-2 record  this season. As for Varsity Opponent, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 89-215-10 record  this season.
 Jefferson County Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on the road again  on Friday to play Boston Trinity Academy at 4:00  p.m. Boston Trinity Academy will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Varsity Opponent surely won't give up without a fight.
