Jones Posts Huge Game in 38-7 Win

Starting off the list is Marion's Timotheus Jones, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jones rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

The victory got Marion back to even at 4-4. Jones' next matchup is against Anderson on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Antwoine Richmond was instrumental in extending Lafayette Jefferson's winning streak to eight on Friday. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 66 yards.

Lafayette Jefferson pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Richmond and Lafayette Jefferson will take on McCutcheon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
