Baseball Recap: Calvary Academy Takes a Loss

Calvary Academy was the 9-6 winner over The Pilgrim Academy when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Warrior fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Warrior have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvary Academy's record is now 3-8. As for The Pilgrim Academy, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Academy will challenge Atlantic Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warrior's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for The Pilgrim Academy, they will take on King's Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
