Volleyball Recap: Oak Hall Takes a Loss

Oak Hall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Santa Fe Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.

Lizzie Cannon paced Oak Hall's offense, picking up three kills. Cannon got some help from Nicolette Aulisio and her six assists. Haley Janes controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Karlee Noah was the offensive standout of the game as she had five digs and two aces.

Oak Hall's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Santa Fe, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Oak Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Lake Wales on the 30th. As for Santa Fe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Steinbrenner on the 30th.
