Baseball Recap: Green Lake/Princeton Takes a Loss

Green Lake/Princeton managed to slip by Hustisford/Dodgeland the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigersharks came up short against Hustisford/Dodgeland on Friday, falling 12-2. The Tigersharks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Hustisford/Dodgeland apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Green Lake/Princeton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Bartol, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Those runs marked the first that Bartol scored this season. Lewis Lofgren was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Green Lake/Princeton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Hustisford/Dodgeland, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Green Lake/Princeton will be playing at home against Pardeeville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigersharks are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Hustisford/Dodgeland, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Kettle Moraine Lutheran at 4:45 p.m. on May 5.
