Basketball Recap: Plymouth Whitemarsh Now 10-3 over Last 13 Games

Garnet Valley typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Plymouth Whitemarsh proved too difficult a challenge. They took down the Garnet Valley Jaguars 72-58. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Colonials also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2022.

Leading Plymouth Whitemarsh to victory were Mani Sajid and Michael Pererira. Sajid went 11-for-21 on his way to 29 points in addition to six assists and three steals, while Pererira dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Jack Hayes was another key player, putting up six points along with five assists and four steals.

Plymouth Whitemarsh has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. Garnet Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6.

Looking ahead, Plymouth Whitemarsh will take on Lower Merion at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lower Merion will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Plymouth Whitemarsh surely won't give up without a fight. As for Garnet Valley, they will challenge Central Bucks East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Bucks East knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Garnet Valley likes a good challenge.
