Soccer Recap: Philip Barbour Comes Up Short

Philip Barbour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers, falling 4-0. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Philip Barbour it sure didn't stay that way.

Philip Barbour's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Philip Barbour is set to square off against their familiar foe East Fairmont at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Buckhannon-Upshur will face off against rival Preston at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
