Sacred Heart came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 56-34 margin over the Republic County Buffaloes. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Buffaloes are ranked 316th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 7-1-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Republic County, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
