Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Friendship Christian). Everything went their way against the Mount Juliet Christian Academy Saints on Wednesday as they made off with a 17-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Commanders, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Friendship Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Mount Juliet Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Friendship Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Saints: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
