Softball Recap: Central Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Central Academy can now relate to. They fell 5-2 to the Oak Grove Grizzlies on Tuesday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katelyn Easterly, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base.

Central Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Oak Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Central Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oak Grove, they have already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Pisgah on the 9th.
