There's no place like home for Van Buren, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Farmington Cardinals 52-49. This was a revenge game for the Pointers: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in January, they had to take a 58-47 defeat.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Van Buren to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trenton Cooley, who shot 60% from beyond the arc en route to 24 points. Gabe Johnson was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 15 boards.

Van Buren's win bumped their record up to 13-17. As for Farmington, their loss dropped their record down to 17-5.

Van Buren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Farmington, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-48 defeat against Sylvan Hills on the 4th.
