Volleyball Recap: Westview Comes Up Short

Westview lost against Mission Vista back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wolverines fell 3-1 to Mission Vista. While the Wolverines didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Mission Vista 25-16 in the first set.

Westview started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-16.

Mission Vista was led to victory by Elmer Catapang and Cody Krohn. Catapang had 11 digs and five assists, while Krohn hit 61.5% for nine kills and 32 assists and nine digs. That's the most kills Krohn has posted since back in March.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 15-19. As for Mission Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Westview nor Mission Vista have any future games scheduled.
