Basketball Recap: Columbia Falls Comes Up Short

Columbia Falls lost against Bigfork back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Columbia Falls Wildcats took a blow against the Bigfork Vikings & Valkyries, falling 75-47. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-18.

Columbia Falls has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Bigfork, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia Falls has already played their next game (against Libby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bigfork will welcome Polson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
