Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huntington). They blew past the Paint Valley Bearcats 58-33 on Wednesday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 29-9.

Paint Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Karris Dye, who posted seven points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Mayah Collier, who earned four points.

Huntington is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Paint Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Huntington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-30 loss against Adena on the 18th. As for Paint Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 55-42 victory against Wellston on the 16th.
