Softball Recap: Lake Buena Vista Takes a Loss

After soaring to 26 runs the game before, Lake Buena Vista was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They lost 16-1 to the Ocoee Knights.

Aiza Khan was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Lake Buena Vista dropped their record down to 8-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ocoee, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Buena Vista will venture away from home to square off against Apopka at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ocoee, they will head out to take on St. Cloud at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
