Basketball Recap: Thompson Comes Up Short

On Friday, Thompson faced Devils Lake in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Thompson Tommies were outmatched by the Devils Lake Firebirds and fell 68-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tommies have suffered since January 26, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Thompson lost, don't look at Drew Odenbach. Despite the final result, he posted eight points and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Braden Tyce, who earned seven points.
