Baseball Recap: Washington Wins Going Away Against Sierra Linda

Washington won against South Mountain last Friday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Rams blew past the Sierra Linda Bulldogs 9-2. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Michael Alpista was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Rylan Evans was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Sierra Linda, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Washington will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
