Basketball Game Preview: Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars vs. Holton Red Devils

The Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Holton Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Crossroads Charter Academy and 11 for Holton.

Crossroads Charter Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Mesick on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Crossroads Charter Academy took a blow against Mesick, falling 54-19. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-6.

The losing side was boosted by Bentley Freeman, who posted six points along with five boards and four steals. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Holton was beaten by Ravenna 64-20 on Tuesday.

Holton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Crossroads Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
