Football Recap: Conrad Science Comes Up Short

Conrad Science was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-16 heartbreaker at the hands of the Newark Charter School Patriots.

Conrad Science's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Newark Charter School, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Conrad Science will take on Glasgow at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Newark Charter School, they will be playing at home against Wilmington Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Patriots will be up against the Force's rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
