Malden had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-8 margin over the Bernie Mules. The Green Wave might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

Alyssa Broom was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Broom was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 11 games.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Carsyn Cohen, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mariah Loya, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Malden always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They are a perfect 15-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Malden's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Bernie, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 26-7 record.

Malden does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bernie has already played their next contest (against Gideon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
