Jackson Kirura was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was his fourth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Laife Pearl, who shot 86% from the field en route to 16 points and five boards.

Genoa Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Columbia County Christian beat Tri-State Christian 50-43 on Thursday.

Columbia County Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points over those games. Genoa Christian Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.
