Basketball Recap: 16 Straight Home Wins for Hazen

Hazen won the last time they faced Stowe and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hazen Wildcats claimed a resounding 72-6 win over the Stowe Raiders. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 31 points or more this season.

Hazen's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.9 points over those games. As for Stowe, they are on a 33-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazen will take on Northfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hazen's defense has only allowed 29.5 points per game this season, so Northfield's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Stowe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blue Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Stowe is facing Blue Mountain at the right time seeing as Blue Mountain is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
