Basketball Recap: St. Ignace Takes a Loss + How To Watch

St. Ignace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 62-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cheboygan Chiefs. Saints fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Chiefs since Thursday.

St. Ignace's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cheboygan, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Ignace will take on Pickford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Saints their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Cheboygan, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Sault Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
