Volleyball Game Preview: Athol Bears vs. John J. Duggan Academy

The Athol Bears will face off against John J. Duggan Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Athol didn't have quite enough to beat Holyoke and fell 3-2. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While John J. Duggan Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Southwick Regional's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-12.

Athol now has a losing record of 1-2. As for John J. Duggan Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
