Softball Recap: Charleston Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Charleston can now relate to. They lost 15-0 to the Bruce Trojans on Thursday. The Tigers were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the four matches prior), but the Trojans' pitchers proved too tough.

With the loss, Charleston broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-11. As for Bruce, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-11-1.

Charleston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bruce, they will challenge East Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Urchins have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
