Reagan never let their opponents score on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over the Alice Coyotes. The one-run effort marked the Rattlers' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The win made it two in a row for Reagan and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Alice, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Reagan wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-2 victory against Pearsall on the 28th. As for Alice, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Andrews on the 27th.
