St. Mary has won 12 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Bloomfield has won 12 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The St. Mary's Cardinals will welcome the Bloomfield Bees at 6:00 p.m. St. Mary's is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season.
Last Friday, everything went St. Mary's way against Ainsworth as St. Mary's made off with a 63-37 victory. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 26 points or more this season.

St. Mary's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gracie Williamson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, Williamson is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Pyper Ickes, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 assists.
St. Mary's was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Bloomfield's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 46-39 to Elgin/Pope John.
Despite the defeat, Bloomfield saw an underclassman step up: freshman Madyson Mlady dropped a double-double on 11 points and 21 boards. Mlady is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Haley Eisenhauer, who posted seven points.
Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for St. Mary's, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: St. Mary's has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.6 boards per game. However, it's not like Bloomfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
St. Mary's took their win against Bloomfield when the teams last played back in January of 2024 by a conclusive 65-40. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Bloomfield's Madison Abbenhaus, who went 5 of 12 on her way to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and six steals. Now that she won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for St. Mary's to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
