Soccer Recap: Currituck County Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Currituck County had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They never let the Perquimans Pirates get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Friday. Currituck County haven't had any issues with Perquimans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Perquimans' loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Currituck County has already played their next match, a 5-1 win against Holmes on the 16th. As for Perquimans, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech at 4:30 p.m. on the 25th.
