Football Game Preview: Hampshire Whip-Purs vs. Huntley Red Raiders + How To Watch

Hampshire is 1-9 against Huntley since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Whip-Purs will look to defend their home field against the Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Hampshire has given up an average of 33.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hampshire came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were beaten by Cary-Grove 40-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Huntley). They came out on top against McHenry by a score of 48-36 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Red Raiders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hampshire's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Huntley, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Hampshire came up short against Huntley when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 29-22. Can the Whip-Purs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
