St. Charles East kept a clean sheet against Bartlett on Saturday. They beat the Hawks by a goal, winning 1-0. Even though St. Charles East got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Brooklyn Grossi was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

The win made it two in a row for St. Charles East and bumps their season record up to 16-4-2. As for Bartlett, they moved to 7-5-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

St. Charles East wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Batavia on the 12th. As for Bartlett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Chicago at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
