Football Game Preview: Fordyce Redbugs vs. Jessieville Lions + How To Watch

The Fordyce Redbugs will square off against the Jessieville Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fordyce's defense has only allowed nine points per game this season, so Jessieville's offense will have their work cut out for them.

If Fordyce beats Jessieville with 20 points on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Redbugs beat McGehee on Friday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 20-14. The win was nothing new for the Redbugs as they're now sitting on three straight.

Meanwhile, Jessieville lost to Cutter-Morning Star at home by a 53-37 margin on Thursday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (36), the Lions still had to take the loss.

Fordyce will have to contain Jacob Graves as he made an impact in Jessieville's last game. He threw for 343 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 106 yards. Tristan Reid was in the mix as well, providing Jessieville with two scores.

Fordyce's record now sits at 9-1. As for Jessieville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
