Basketball Recap: Dermott Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

Dermott won against Crossett last Wednesday with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Dermott Rams took down the Emerson Pirates 51-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rams also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Dermott pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Emerson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6.

Dermott wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 48-44 loss against McGehee on the 9th. Emerson has also already played their next game, a 61-58 defeat against Bearden on the 10th.
