Basketball Recap: East Surry Gets the Win

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but East Surry ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They escaped with a win against the Wilkes Central Eagles by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 76-49 back in January.

Wilkes Central's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ayden Barrett, who posted 11 points, and Jermaine Ferguson, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points and four steals. Aiden Parks was another key player, putting up eight points.
