Eudora is 8-2 against Tonganoxie since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Eudora Cardinals will challenge the Tonganoxie Chieftains. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Friday, Eudora lost to Bonner Springs on the road by a 65-51 margin. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Braves are ranked 38th).

Meanwhile, Tonganoxie had to suffer through a 57-25 loss at the hands of Spring Hill.

Eudora's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tonganoxie, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6-1.

Eudora didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Tonganoxie in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 52-46 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eudora since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
