Softball Recap: La Pryor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sabinal last Tuesday, La Pryor came back down to earth. La Pryor lost 13-1 to Three Rivers on Tuesday. La Pryor has struggled against Three Rivers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

La Pryor's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Three Rivers, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. La Pryor will take on rival Falls City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Three Rivers is set to challenge their familiar foe Charlotte at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Trojans a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
