Basketball Recap: Midland Drops Season-High Score on Wethersfield

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midland). They came out on top against the Wethersfield Flying Geese by a score of 56-45 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Timberwolves, who suffered a 68-42 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Midland and bumps their season record up to 6-13. As for Wethersfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-14.

Midland will be playing in front of their home fans against Marquette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Midland has lost four straight at home , while Marquette has lost three on the road. As for Wethersfield, they will square off against Knoxville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wethersfield is facing Knoxville at the right time seeing as Knoxville is stuck on an 18-game losing streak.
