Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Catholic). They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the East Hartford Hornets on Wednesday. Considering the Eagles have won six games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

East Catholic's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for East Hartford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

East Catholic will take on Haddam-Killingworth at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Hartford, they will face off against Cheney Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
