Basketball Recap: Bloomington North Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Bloomington North extended their home winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Katharine Lehr. The Bloomington North Cougars came out on top against the Linton-Stockton Miners by a score of 54-45 on Saturday thanks in part to Lehr, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Ava Robbennolt, who went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024.

Bloomington North now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Linton-Stockton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomington North has already played their next match (against Brownstown Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Linton-Stockton will welcome Parke Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parke Heritage is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.9 points per game this season.
